Endorsement
A form that changes the base policy: adding people, taking back perils, or amending definitions.
What it means
The base form (CG 00 01, CP 00 10, CA 00 01, BP 00 03) is the chassis. Endorsements are the parts list. Coverbird matches form numbers from the PDF against a reference catalog so you can see what those parts are called.
Why it shows up
Almost every contract-driven request (additional insured, waiver, P&N, hired auto) is an endorsement question.
What to look for
- Forms and endorsements schedule
- Edition date next to the number
Coverbird reads the declarations and form schedule on the PDF you already have. It does not sell insurance or say whether a limit is enough.
